CHICAGO - DAY 1

GINEVRA'S OPINION ON DAY 1 / GINEVRA RACCONTA IL I GIORNO:

This morning we went to LaSalle Language Academy were we had a Welcome Breakfast with our American hosts, and then we introduced ourselves to families and Teachers. Then we took a tour of the school, it is very big!!! Then my class went to the History Museum of Chicago. I like this museum because there is the bed where Abraham Lincoln ( the American president that abolished slavery ) died. After we went to A park for lunch, I had a croissant, an orange and four little donughts. At 1 p.m., we went to Lincoln Park zoo. It is very beautful . There were many animals and I loved it!!! Then we went back to school and I met Veronica ( my American host), we went home and we had dinner. Later we went to Margie's to eat ice-cream. I'm so happy for this experience.


Stamani siamo andati a scuole dove abbiamo preso parte a una colazione di benvenuto con i nostri ospiti americani, dopo ci siamo presentati a genitori e insegnanti. Dopo abbiamo fatto un giro della scuola, è molto grande!!! Successivamente il nostro gruppo ha visitato il Museo della Storia di Chicago, mi piace molto questo museo perché si può vedere il letto su cui è morto Abramo Lincoln ( il presidente degli Stati Uniti ) che ha abolito la schiavitù. Più tardi andati in un parco per mangiare , io ho mangiato  un croissant, un arancio e 4 ciambelline. Alle 1 siamo andati allo zoo di Lincoln Park. E' molto bello. Ci sono molti animali. Mi è piaciuto molto. Dopo siamo tornati a scuola dove ho incontrato Veronica ( la mia ospite americana), siamo andate a casa e abbiamo cenato. Dopo siamo andati da Margie's per un gelato. Sono molto felice di poter fare questa esperienza.

CHICAGO- DAY 2

Today , after we went to school with our partners, we took the train to town and we saw  a lot of Chicago ’s buildings and skyscrapers, such as: The Trump Tower, the Aqua Tower,The Marquette building and the Federal building. After that we wen to the Millennium Park. It is  very big and beautiful and there are a lot of fantastic things, like the ‘bean’ and the two fountains with faces of people from Chicago. Then we returned to our hosting families for dinner and after we watched the film ‘Matilda’ at school. I liked it very much! Oggi , dopo aver accompagnato, i nostri partner a scuola, abbiamo preso il treno e siamo andati in centro dove abbiamo visto molti dei grattacieli di Chicago tra cui: la Trump Tower, l’ Aqua Tower, il Marquette building e il Federal building. Dopo abbiamo pranzato e poi siamo andati al Millenium Park. E’ molto grande e bello e ci sono molte cose fantastiche come ‘il fagiolo’ e le fontane con le facce di persone di Chicago.
