CHICAGO - DAY 1

GINEVRA'S OPINION ON DAY 1 / GINEVRA RACCONTA IL I GIORNO:

This morning we went to LaSalle Language Academy were we had a Welcome Breakfast with our American hosts, and then we introduced ourselves to families and Teachers. Then we took a tour of the school, it is very big!!! Then my class went to the History Museum of Chicago. I like this museum because there is the bed where Abraham Lincoln ( the American president that abolished slavery ) died. After we went to A park for lunch, I had a croissant, an orange and four little donughts. At 1 p.m., we went to Lincoln Park zoo. It is very beautful . There were many animals and I loved it!!! Then we went back to school and I met Veronica ( my American host), we went home and we had dinner. Later we went to Margie's to eat ice-cream. I'm so happy for this experience.

Stamani siamo andati a scuole dove abbiamo preso parte a una colazione di benvenuto con i nostri ospiti americani, dopo ci siamo presentati a genitori e insegnanti. Dopo abbiamo fatto un giro della scuola, è molto grande!!! Successivamente il nostro gruppo ha visitato il Museo della Storia di Chicago, mi piace molto questo museo perché si può vedere il letto su cui è morto Abramo Lincoln ( il presidente degli Stati Uniti ) che ha abolito la schiavitù. Più tardi andati in un parco per mangiare , io ho mangiato  un croissant, un arancio e 4 ciambelline. Alle 1 siamo andati allo zoo di Lincoln Park. E' molto bello. Ci sono molti animali. Mi è piaciuto molto. Dopo siamo tornati a scuola dove ho incontrato Veronica ( la mia ospite americana), siamo andate a casa e abbiamo cenato. Dopo siamo andati da Margie's per un gelato. Sono molto felice di poter fare questa esperienza.
